Ascent and climb to Toubkal

The highest top in the Atlas mountains

Climb to Toubkal or Tubkal wish is a mountain peak in south-western Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 metres, it is the highest top in the Atlas mountains, Morocco, the Arab World and North Africa.

The high Atlas, containing all the highest peaks, is by far the most popular region of trekkers. the trek up to Toubkal and the Neltner hut is undertaken by several thousand visitors each year, of all nationalities. Travel beyond the narrow confines of the Mizane and Imlil valley, however, and you are unlikely to meet more than one or two other trekkers. Starting from marrakech, we drive into the Atlas mountains, making for the small hamlet of imlil. from her we walk along a mule track to the berber village of Aremd, were we overnight.:

* mules will carry our food and equipment and sometimes some of the member's personal gear.

* Toubkal climb is not only about the top or great trek, but also about its rich valleys and amazing natural environment which provide a perfect destination for everyone.

* You have the choice between bagging the summit in two or three days from Marrakech or completing an extended circuit over six to seven days.
